Jesse Isom is a Palm Beach County personal injury attorney representing clients across Florida who have suffered life-changing injuries due to the negligence and wrongdoing of others. His practice focuses on personal injury, wrongful death, and traumatic brain injury cases arising from automobile negligence, as well as claims involving premises liability, product liability, and medical malpractice.
Mr. Isom has devoted his career to helping individuals obtain justice and accountability from people, corporations, and institutions that would otherwise act with impunity. Through rigorous case preparation and strategic legal analysis, he develops litigation strategies tailored to each client’s goals. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state and federal courts and has tried more than 30 jury trials to verdict.
In his career, Mr. Isom has litigated a wide variety of plaintiff-side matters in state and federal courts, including claims involving consumer protection, insurance bad faith, civil rights violations under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, public records, and First Amendment issues. He also defended motorists and small businesses in automobile negligence and wrongful death cases throughout Florida, giving him valuable insight into the tactics and motivations of insurance companies and defense lawyers.
Mr. Isom brings substantial courtroom experience from his time as both a trial and appellate attorney at the Palm Beach County Public Defender’s Office, where he handled complex, high stakes matters and secured acquittals and sentence reductions for clients facing severe penalties. That experience has reinforced his belief that effective advocacy depends on the ability to tell a client’s story in a compelling and persuasive way.
Mr. Isom began his courtroom experience while attending the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he graduated cum laude. He also served on the executive board of the Florida Moot Court Team.
Before practicing law, Mr. Isom worked in journalism and international community development. He earned a BA in Anthropology from Columbia University, an MPhil from the University of Oxford, and a graduate certificate in Chinese Studies from the Hopkins-Nanjing Center. A fifth-generation Floridian, he lives in Palm Beach County with his wife and children.
